Although music programming happens year-round, students and visitors flock to Centrum in the summer for gatherings such as the Festival of American Fiddle Tunes, Jazz Port Townsend, and the Port Townsend Acoustic Blues Festival.

Fort Worden is also home to Washington’s “official instrument” – the Dan Harpole Cistern. The Cistern features a 45-second reverberation time, and is available to be used by musicians and recording artists as part of Centrum’s Creative Residency Program.
