Kate Burke, Fort Worden Area Parks Manager, has asked us to extend the following invitation to all Centrum volunteers. Many of you have been following the progress of the Learning Center at Fort Worden project, inluding the City’s Public Development Authority. This meeting will be a great opportunity for you to hear the latest and ask questions. It's also a  chance for us all to see the newly renovated USO Facility!

You and your entire staff and boards are invited to attend a progress report meeting on the Fort Worden Learning Center implementation. 
Please set aside Feb 4th at  9 am – 10 am in the newly renovated USO to attend a meeting and hear a progress report of the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) between Centrum and Washington State Parks and an introduction of the City’s Public Development Authority.  The Fort Worden Collaborative, led by Thatcher Bailey will present information on achievements to date, projects underway and strategies for the next eighteen months.  There will also be time at this meeting for you to ask questions, gain clarity or voice concerns.   
It is important that all of you understand the roles, relationships and results expected from this phase of our implementation of the Learning Center at Fort Worden.
