Fort Worden Seeking Volunteers

Volunteer

The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission invites
volunteers to celebrate the spirit of Earth Day in April by
participating in Community Partnership Month activities.

April is a great month to help prepare state parks for the summer
season. This is a perfect opportunity for individuals, groups and
families to roll up their sleeves and help their state parks

Fort Worden State Park, Port Townsend, WA is always seeking volunteers! Our retail sales, visitor center, and museum sites all desire help from dedicated resident hosts and daily volunteers.

RV sites with full hookups are offered in exchange for minimum 28 hours weekly volunteering, and a 30 day minimum agreement. Volunteer hosts ideally begin the first of a month. Year-round openings are available. “Happy Campers” abound, with our exceptional Olympic Peninsula location and the satisfaction of helping a distinctive National Historic Landmark site. Application and background check required.
