Denise Chávez, widely regarded as one of the leading playwrights and novelists of the southwestern United States, made her first appearance at the Port Townsend Writers' Conference in 2009. Her workshop was immensely popular, and we're excited about her return in 2010!  

Denise, whose novels include “The Last of the Menu Girls,” “Face of an Angel,” and “Loving Pedro Infante”, is a noted memorist and nonfiction writer, as well as fiction writer. She will be leading a workshop in creative nonfiction during the July 18-25 Conference. Register
