Read Centrum’s Summer Performance Guide

Summer-Performance-Guide-Cover Our 2010 Summer Performance Guide is in the mail! Comprised of six festivals celebrating singing, fiddle traditions, jazz, chamber music, writing and acoustic blues, the Centrum summer season is made up of nearly 60 events that include a rich and diverse lineup of concerts, club performances, dances and readings by world-class artists.  All tickets are now on sale online, or by phone at 1-800-746-1982.

The 2010 season is highlighted by the return of Voiceworks after a two-year hiatus which celebrates the art of singing, and the appearances of Grammy Award-winning violinist and vocalist Laurie Lewis for both Voiceworks and Fiddle Tunes; the Jazz Port Townsend performance of the Heath Brothers, one of the legendary families in jazz; and the American music icon David Bromberg, returning to McCurdy Pavilion after 20 years for the Port Townsend Acoustic Blues Festival.

Mainstage performances take place at McCurdy Pavilion, a WWI-era dirigible hangar converted into an exceptional concert hall which, during nice weather, is opened to allow seating on the wide lawn of Littlefield Green. Smaller concerts and readings take place in the 280-seat Joseph F. Wheeler Theater as well as at intimate club venues in downtown and uptown Port Townsend. Dances are located a various venues around the Fort.

If you aren't on our mailing list, please contact us, and we'll make sure to send you a copy of our Performance Guide. Or, you may download a PDF of the Guide for instant viewing/printing.

We hope you can join us for an exciting summer in Port Townsend.
