Counting Down to Voiceworks at Centrum

We are mere weeks away from the start of Voiceworks
– our fun week of singing
here at Fort Worden, and we have had a
number of calls from folks as of late asking if there is still space in
the gathering.

Enthusiastically – YES!

If you haven't spent a week hanging out with fun people singing, you
need to
. Singing is compelling, the natural human effort to
communicate. Singing makes you feel good, and it links you to different
cultures and to your fellow humans.

You don't need to be a great singer to have a good week here. You
just need to be yourself.

Through close observation and personal experimentation, you’ll learn
about breathing, phrasing, dynamics, how to make your voice blend, what
makes your voice unique. You’ll learn new songs, you’ll learn about your
range, and how to find your key. And you’ll learn that your ears just
might be your most important asset.

And the fun? Well we have a LOT of fun at Voiceworks, and it starts
with our faculty
. In addition to being terrific musicians, we are
excited to have them in town because they are just some of the nicest
people you could hope to spend a week with.

So – with just a few weeks to go, please join us – and tell your
friends. Let's make this a week to remember!
