From June 28 – July 3, 2010, the campus of Fort Worden State Park will be bathed in song. It is with great excitement that we welcome participants from around the United States for Voiceworks – a week of singing.

It is our third such gathering here in Port Townsend, and the combination of world-class artists with passionate participants creates the quintessential “Centrum Experience.” Participants are here to soak up styles, songs and stories in a wide range of vocal traditions with some of the finest vocalists in the hemisphere.

We have three public performances associated with Voiceworks – and we preview each one of them over on our Voiceworks website. Young phenom Elizabeth LaPrelle will kick off Saturday’s big Pavilion show. She brings something exceptional to the ancient and deep art of Appalachian unaccompanied
singing.
