Ingrid Jensen
A Festival favorite, Ingrid Jensen is an amazing trumpeter, composer, and arranger who is back with us this year to play a memorable set with a knockout ensemble. Ingrid grew up across the water from Port Townsend in British Columbia, and she'll be joined by another Pacific Northwest treasure, Dawn Clement.
Larry Goldings
We're thrilled to have Larry Goldings join us in Port Townsend this year. An organist and keyboard player in constant demand, Larry (along with Jack DeJohnette and John
Scofield) received a "Best Jazz Instrumental Album" Grammy nomination in 2007 for their album, "Trio
Beyond – Saudades" (ECM).
In 2006, 2007 and 2008, Larry toured the United States and
Europe with James Taylor, as his One Man Band, a
collaborative project that culminated in the joint CD/DVD release by the
same name (Hear Music). The album went gold and features an
original composition by Larry entitled "School Song."
