Centrum’s Artist in Residence program was created in 1980 to provide selected writers with the time and space to create new work. In 1982 funds were donated to establish a fine art print center, complete with studio space and working presses. Tim Berry of Teaberry Press worked with artists in residence over those first few years, and the Centrum Print Collection had its start.
Over two decades later, the complete Collection comprises over 400 unique images donated to Centrum by Visual Artists in Residence, a list of names that reads likes a who’s who of the northwest art scene, including Fay Jones (above), Juan Alonso, Edd Cox, and many others.
A limited number of prints from the Centrum Print Collection are now available for purchase. These prints are being offered at introductory pricing, and your purchase will directly support Centrum’s mission of providing creative experiences that change lives.
