School bells may be ringing for some, but as a lifelong learning center, Fort Worden is still in full session with great educational opportunities for “happy campers” of all ages!

As of July 2011, the State of Washington implemented the Discover Pass at all Washington State Parks, including Fort Worden. Be assured that if you are coming to the Fort for a Centrum, Port Townsend School of Woodworking, Madrona MindBody Institute, Port Townsend Marine Science Center, or any event detailed above, The Discover Pass is not required.

However, we encourage people to buy a pass to help keep the LEARNING and enjoyment of state parks open and accessible to the public.
