Of all of the outstanding music I heard at Wintergrass, my favorite set would have to be Tim O'Brien with Bryan Sutton and Mike Bubb, and man, did they bring it. Tim has the remarkable ability to uncover a rare song from a well-known musician, like Woody Guthrie or Bob Dylan, turn it inside out, shake it up, and own it – his show was full of such gems.

Fans of O'Brien know his ability to write a song that feels like it's been around for a long time – here's a video of Tim singing his 2006 IBMA song of the year, "Look Down That Lonesome Road."  – pkm
