Due to the large number of registrations for Voice Works, we’ve added Kelli Jones to the 2012 staff. Born a Tar Heel and raised in the Piedmont of North Carolina, Kelli now lives in Eunice, where she’s become a powerful force in the progressive music scene of Southwest Louisiana. She’s a songwriter in her band Jones and the Giants, and plays fiddle and sings in French in her all-girl Cajun trio Jolie Blonde et les Bassettes. She’s the Blonde. In many ways, she’s also the future of music in in the new acoustic universe. Here’s Kelli singing her own song, “The Only Thing Could Take Your Place Is The Blues.”
(Notice she’s wearing polka dots?)
