Two important updates to the 2012 Festival of American Fiddle Tunes.

Firstly, the week long Fiddle Tunes workshops are  full, and we’ve closed registration. If you wish to be placed on a waiting list, please email info@centrum.org. If you still need your helping of fiddle music, then please attend the Festival concerts.

Secondly, with great regret, we need to tell you that Lester McCumbers will not make it to Fiddle Tunes this year, as he has fallen ill.

Franklin George

In his stead will be another iconic West Virginia fiddler, Franklin George. Frank was on staff at the second Fiddle Tunes festival in 1978, and again in 1980, but he hasn’t been back since.

We are very much looking forward to seeing and hearing him again.
