NY Times Best Selling Author Cheryl Strayed was a member of the Port Townsend Writer’s Conference community in 2011 and again in 2012.

When at Centrum in 2011,  she was awaiting the publication of “Wild,” which would eventually top the NY Times Best Seller’s List.

While at the Conference in 2012, Cheryl  took  a few minutes to chat with Centrum’s Executive Director John MacElwee on how fame has affected her writing, and her feelings on the Conference experience.
