We’re pleased to announce the addition of a trio of terrific Old Time musicians to the 2013 Festival of American Fiddle Tunes artist/faculty. Old Time legend Charlie McCarroll will participate and be accompanied by Joseph Decosimo and Bob Fulcher.

The son of the great Southern Champion fiddler Jimmy McCarroll, Charlie is known for his own vast storehouse of tunes, as well as for his mastery of the repertoire of his father. The McCarroll fiddle tradition is a robust lineage; the folks at Jubilee Arts have put together an interesting PDF detailing the family’s musical legacy.
