Myco Robinson is a Washington born and raised fiber arts educator and eclectic artist. With over 19 years of experience teaching felting with wool locally and globally. Passionate about working with youth and supporting the inherent creativity in every person. They are an ardent weaver of whimsy and delight. As director and lead instructor of Wild Child Arts Education, they run themed kids camps and afterschool programming throughout the Olympic Peninsula. They teach in public and private schools. Frequently working with community arts education organizations throughout the Pacific Northwest. 

Much of their education started experientially in Waldorf, Montessori, and Forest schools. An Evergreen State College graduate, they majored in fiber arts and education. Living in Aotearoa (New Zealand) and Guatemala, they had a variety of weavers, natural dyers, felters, and spinners lead them further into tactile arts. All of these arts are frequently done as a community. Often made accessible with accommodations for people of all ages and backgrounds. These experiences taught Myco the power of creative and embodied intergenerational studies. This continues to inform their teaching approach and curriculum. 

Owner of local business Feral Fine Arts, they instruct adults as well as children.  Teaching is their greatest joy. They love the rain, fungi, hiking, tide pooling and chasing sunsets all along our beautiful coastline.
