Throughout 2022, expand your library and your understanding of the elements of effective writing. Join our free ongoing reading and writing workshop, offered online each Friday morning at 10:am and again at 4:pm Pacific Time. Together we’ll deepen our commitment to our writing craft by exploring a variety of contemporary craft books by authors such as Ursula Le Guin, Kim Addonizio, Melissa Febos, Paisley Rekdal, among others. For Writers: Practicing our Craft is a reading group for writers exploring the ways and means of effective poetry and prose, seeking to look more closely to our relationship to our ourselves, our writing, and to each other. This is not a dive into workshopping a manuscript, but rather a group that provides support and stability for the creation of and dedication to your writing practice. Sign up once to receive updates. This workshop is free, meets most Fridays throughout 2022 and is available for you to attend on a drop-in basis. Facilitated by Centrum’s Program Manager for Writing, George Marie. This program is limited to those aged 16 and over. To view the syllabus (updated frequently), follow this link. You can register and receive the Zoom link here.
