Art and Science at Water World

New discoveries are just the next step away at Water World – our arts and science workshop for elementary school students held each year at Fort Worden State Park.

The 2011 workshop took place May 1-6. Students from across Washington worked with Centrum artists and scientist educators from the Port Townsend Marine Science Center. Finding an octopus while searching the tidepools for sea life was a high point during the beach hike. Students developed skills of observation, examination and reflection – the key elements to Water World’s art and science focus.
