Impact the Future of the Arts

Your Support Matters. From renowned music workshops to hands-on youth art programs, Centrum’s scenic campus on the Olympic Peninsula is a truly remarkable setting for creative discovery. In the past year, we were able to gather again—in person—for the magic of:

• Sharing the traditions and culture of fiddle, blues, jazz, Brazilian choro, chamber music, ukulele, and voice with artists and learners from 11 countries and 33 states.

• Literary luminaries from across the country gathering for Centrum’s Writers Conference, which has been at the wild heart of the thriving Pacific Northwest literary scene for 49 years.

• Youth from all over Washington finding their voices and talents in music, theater, dance, writing, and visual arts programs.

• More than 100 artist residencies at Centrum giving writers, painters, musicians, and choreographers time and space to develop new work.

• And over 90 concerts, dances, exhibits, lectures, performances, and readings which celebrate these programs, attracting arts lovers from 28 states and fostering a vital creative economy.

With the help of generous donors, Centrum was able to make the arts accessible to more people of all ages and financial abilities by providing scholarships to nearly 200 participants from age 4 to 78, 40% of which went to children and teens.

Thank you for helping Centrum bring together artists to build community and pass culture and tradition from one generation to the next. Because of your support, we live in a more vibrant and inclusive world.
