Centrum is pleased to announce the addition of Inez Maubane Jones, of Bainbridge Island, to its Board of Directors. Writer and editor, Jones is the author of The Contest, a children’s book series and writes a blog on educational trends, parenting and social issues. She is executive director of the nonprofit Arts & Humanities Bainbridge. She also serves on the boards of Bainbridge Performing Arts and WEAVE Presents.  Ms. Jones co-founded a communications company, MCG Communications, which specialized in public relations, communication skills training, and publications in 2001. She launched Ulimi Lwami language centers in Durban and Cape Town, South Africa, in partnership with the S.A. Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) while at Vega School of Brand Leadership, South Africa’s largest and most accredited tertiary education institution. Jones lived in Hong Kong for seven years and was a contributing writer for Toyo Keizai (Tokyo Business Today) where she covered social, tech, and educational trends related to parenting.
