Centrum Artist-in-Residence Meg Kaczyk will be presenting an Open Studio on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 5-8pm in Building 205 at Fort Worden.

Kaczyk has used her Centrum Residency to paint large scale pieces that celebrate good water, good land and good food. She is working on a multi-panel installation entitled “Water Ways: Homage to the Salish Sea,” with each panel depicting a different view of this precious resource. Other paintings will include several in a series entitled “Big Fruit,” and additional pieces in her “Madrona” series, which began in 2017.
