John Clayton, Artistic Director of Jazz Port Townsend, leads a specially assembled big band in concert on Jazz Northwest on 88.5 KNKX and knkx.org on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 2 PM Pacific. The all-star big band is an annual feature of Jazz Port Townsend, which celebrated its 45th year in 2019.  The featured soloists include Jeff Hamilton, Terell Stafford, René Marie, Gerald Clayton and Akiko Tsuruga.

Jazz Northwest is recorded and produced by Jim Wilke for KNKX and airs every Sunday at 2 PM. After broadcast, shows may be streamed on demand at jazznw.org.  A podcast is also available from knkx.org, npr, iTunes or Google.
