Join us Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 2pm for the final installment of The Port Townsend Chamber Music Festival’s Joseph F. Wheeler Celebration Series with a performance in the Wheeler Theater featuring Baroque Virtuosi.

Some of the West Coast’s finest period instrument players will converge at Fort Worden for the concert featuring masterworks of the Baroque era. Included in the program will be Handel’s Trio Sonata for Two Violins and Continuo and his Cantata ‘O qualis de coelo sonus’, ‘Also hat Gott die Welt geliebet’ by Buxtehude, J.S. Bach’s Sonata in B minor for Violin and Harpsichord and his Sonata in G minor for Viola da Gamba and Harpsichord, ‘La Follia’ by Vivaldi, and Strozzi’s Serenata ‘Hor che Apollo’ from Arie.
