COVID-19 Protocols

As of 05/18/2023, Jefferson County Health’s recommendation for those operating businesses in Port Townsend, Washington, is: “masking in public, indoor places is recommended, although no longer required.”

Centrum echoes this protocol—we encourage guests to mask when indoors, but we are not requiring masks on our campus (for audience members, workshop participants, faculty, staff, or volunteers) at this time. If conditions change, Centrum retains the right to reverse this protocol. Changes, if any, will be posted on this page.

Jefferson County Public Health staff recommend wearing a mask in all indoor settings when:

  • You’re sick
  • Those around you are sick
  • The indoor space you’re in is crowded and not well ventilated
  • You care for people who are vulnerable to severe illness, such as those 65 and older or who are immunocompromised.

Anyone who manages a publicly-accessible space may require members of the public to wear a mask. Please continue to respect the rules of the room you’re in.

Centrum Office
The Centrum office is open to the public. Registration for workshops and the purchasing of tickets can be done via our website at www.centrum.org.

Thank you for your continued understanding and support!
