Washboard Chaz and Playing for Change

The following post was originally posted by Jack Olmsted at his Seattle P-I reader blog Videoblogging 206.

This week Washboard Chaz is teaching and playing at the Port Townsend Acoustic Blues Festival. Two years ago he was included in the international hit, Stand By Me, produced by Playing For Change.

Last week, ABC News selected Playing for Change producer Mark Johnson as their Person of The Week.

Chaz talks about playing the washboard, washboard history, his bands, his wife and how he got involved with Playing For Change.

From the street, Chaz and Roberto Luti play Mystery Train.
