As the Food Security Coordinator for the YMCA, Genevieve led numerous hunger relief programs in Jefferson County focusing on transportation and expanding family nutrition. She has worked for several local theater companies and directed Men on Boats in 2019 and As You Like It in 2022.…
Nicole Comforto
Grants Officer
Nicole Comforto is a writer, musician, and non-profit professional with many years of experience bringing grant funding to innovative organizations. She is a graduate of Whitman College and Columbia University’s Graduate School of Arts & Sciences. After graduating, she worked in communications at UNESCO, then in fundraising roles at several nonprofits focused on international literacy. She is delighted to return to her hometown of Port Townsend with her family and join Centrum’s development team.

Clare Hausmann Weiand has spent her career at the intersection of arts, community, and impact, from her early days as a marketing program manager at Microsoft to founding a nonprofit ballet school in Everett and leading advancement at beloved Seattle institutions like ACT Theatre, Seattle Children’s Theatre, and the Arboretum Foundation. She’s passionate about using storytelling and data to help organizations grow their audiences, deepen relationships with supporters, and create more inclusive, vibrant cultural experiences.…

Niki Van Duren (Data and Donor Relations Manager) comes to us with much experience in leave programs, recruitment, HRIS systems, and administrative generalist duties. Most recently hailing from Portland, Niki has been in Port Townsend since early 2020. She is drawn to Centrum’s art programs, particularly the writer’s programs.
