Please join six Portland, Oregon-area artists who are Centrum artists-in-residence in early September. Stop by and see what they have been working on during their week-long residency. Throughout their residency they invited models from Port Townsend to sit and share in an exchange of stories and personal life experiences. Each artist focuses their visions differently, but communally, from time spent in the printing and painting studios, to musical exploration and expeditions to the Port Townsend environs. Their goal is to evoke the flavor of impulse, guitar rhythms, people, animals, landscape, the human condition – past and present, connecting humanity through Art. As they say, “We celebrate the human figure!”
