Well, another year has come and gone; the 37th Port Townsend Writers' Conference is over. It was the "beautiful week"–a time of retreat and renewal for over two hundred writers taking a variety of workshops, attending craft lectures, and attending–or participating in–evening readings.
In addition, the Residency-Only option, in which writers come to this stunning location for both silence and camaraderie, was the most popular it has ever been.
The next Conference will happen July 17-24, 2011, and faculty and workshop offerings should be announced mid-October, with registration to open in early November of this year.
In the meantime, writer Tamara Sellman has a nice post-Conference recap blog here. And terrific photos from the 2010 gathering will be available shortly!
