Some rather excellent news to report! Benjamin Alire Sáenz will be on hand at the 2011 Port Townsend Writers' Conference to teach memoir. We'll have more information–and our complete faculty list!–soon. In addition to his prose work, Sáenz is a Copper Canyon Press poet, whose work is often centered on the U.S./Mexico border.
Meanwhile, registration for the April 14-17 Poetry Symposium is now half-full. Led by poet Erin Belieu, the Artistic Director of the Port Townsend Writers' Conference, this intimate workshop is designed for poets wanting to take existing poems to the next level and create new work in an intense, nurturing weekend environment. Registration is available here, as well as by calling Centrum at 360.385.3102, x131.
