Please join us for Open Studios for the Emerging Artists in Residence on Saturday, October 12th from 12 – 4 pm. Centrum’s Emerging Artist Residency program, now in its 11th year, gathers Pacific Northwest-based visual and interdisciplinary artists to Centrum for a 4-week residency. This year’s artists are Vivienne Bessette, Sophie Marie, Darrell McKinney, Ayesha, Mohyuddin, Fin’es Scott, and April Werle.
The E.A.R. program provides residents with lodging & studios, stipends, multiple resident gatherings, and studio visits with Visiting Guest Artists. This residency is aimed at artists in the Pacific Northwest who are towards the beginning of their creative paths and can benefit from the time to focus and receive support from a community of peers and specialists in their fields.
The Open Studios will be in Buildings 205, 305, and 310 and are free to attend. We hope to see you there!
