Meghan Thréinfhir
Biography
Meghan Thréinfhir is an artist, educator, and curator whose work bridges science, technology, and spirituality. Using materials like seaweed, copper, wax and bog batteries, she creates works that explore the speculative intersections of witchcraft, animism, and cutting-edge scientific concepts. Meghan’s recent projects explore holographic theory, logic gates, and wormholes, reimagining technology as a tool for connection rather than control. She teaches Witch Tech: Intro to Python, a unique course combining programming with philosophical discussions on technology’s roots in craft and mysticism. Her work has been shown internationally, including a recent solo exhibition, Bog Memory/Computer Memory, at Captive Portal in Copenhagen. Drawing inspiration from alchemy, pagan traditions, and speculative physics, Meghan’s work blurs the boundaries between art and science, inviting viewers into a meditative engagement with the cosmos and the interconnected forces shaping our universe.
