It's really getting down to it! Five more days until a full week of immersion in literature! Whether you're here to read, write, translate, edit, or just meditate and think, there are more participants signed up for the 2009 Port Townsend Writers' Conference than for any other in our thirty-six year history.

Enclosed is a picture of downtown Port Townsend (Tyler Street) taken during the summer of 2008. The downtown area is about two miles from Fort Worden, and is a great place to sit and read, talk, or take in the sights.
