Fort Worden Conference Planning

Fortworden_widesm Thank you for considering Fort Worden State Park Conference Center to host your next event!  As a desintation learning center we are dedicated to providing inspiration, comfort, value and hospitality to all.  The center hosts approximately 1.3 million conferees and guests each year.  Whether you would like to arrange a meeting, a retreat, workshop, wedding, or a reunion, Fort Worden can provide the assistance you need to make your event unforgettable.

We help you “personalize” your event and design a Fort Worden experience that will be truly memorable!  Accommodations range from suite-style rooms along our historic Officer Row to private housing in our Victorian guest accommodations.  Dining options include everything from the bountiful buffet in the Commons to a custom picnic in the woods, or a visit to the Local Goods Cafe Espresso & Wine Bar. Our versatile meeting rooms are adaptable for plenary sessions, concerts, worship services, small group meetings, workshops, board meetings, and child care programs. Sound systems, video projectors, and more are available upon request.

Here are a few questions to keep in mind:

  • What type of event are you planning?
  • How many guests will you be expecting? How many adults and children?
  • What type of accommodations will you need? How many rooms/lodges will you want to reserve?
  • How many nights will you be staying?
  • What meal package would you like to create?
  • Will you need conference rooms and/or recreational space?

When it’s time to relax, you can hike one of a dozen-plus trails, fish or kayak in the Puget Sound , or simply pull up a seat and enjoy the beauty of the Cascades.  Of Fort Worden’s 434 acres, nearly 50 acres are dedicated to historic preservation and are distinguished as part of the National Registry of Historic Landmarks. Request a map or obtain one at our front desk! There’s lots to see and do!
