During the Port Townsend Writers’ Conference, a rich and diverse gathering of prose writers and poets read from their work.

Readings are free, and open to the public at the Joseph F. Wheeler Theater.

7:15pm: Gary Copeland Lilley

Gary Copeland Lilley is the author of four collections of poetry: “Black Poem,” “Alpha Zulu,” “The Reprehensibles,” and “The Subsequent Blues.” Lilley has been a poet-in-residence at WritersCorps, Young Chicago Authors, and The Poetry Center of Chicago, and received the DC Commission on the Arts Fellowship for Poetry. He currently lives in North Carolina.
