Kris is the President of Easterday Promotions in Seattle and a part-time resident of Cape George. Her firm develops sponsorships and promotions for some of the biggest events in the world including Cirque du Soleil, Three Tenors, Peter Gabriel’s WOMAD and the King Tutankhamun exhibit. She has arranged sponsorship deals with major corporations, including Microsoft, Ford, AT&T and Nordstrom on major sponsorship deals and have developed partnerships with CBS, AT&T Cable, NBC TV, ABC TV, HBO, Showtime and other media giants.
Kris led sponsorship activities for the Race to Alaska. She is a former Director of Sponsorship & Marketing for One Reel (1984–1987) and managed sponsorship and marketing for Bumbershoot, a major regional music and arts festival. Kris holds a BA in Speech and Communications from the University of Washington.
