Reserve your seats for our Ukulele concerts while they last!

Now in its 4th season, the Port Townsend Ukulele Festival continues to draw a diverse, multi-generational community of enthusiastic beginner, intermediate and advanced ukulele players. At the end of the week, the faculty gathers for a series of public concerts to showcase the versatile ukulele.

“The breadth of sound you can get from a ukulele is amazing,” Peter McCracken, Ukulele Festival Program Manager said. “And the faculty is truly remarkable.”

One faculty member, Daniel Ho, has won six consecutive Grammy awards for his music. “Making music is my passion,” Ho said. “I practice when I’m at the airport, on the plane, waiting for my drink at happy hour, [or] on long road trips.”

Ho, who was born in Hawaii and now lives in Los Angeles, called Washington’s Olympic Peninsula one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

“It has probably been about 10 years or so since I performed in Port Angeles, which is not too far from Port Townsend,” Ho said. “I’m looking forward to meeting new friends who share a common interest. And learning a thing or two!”
