Centrum’s Acoustic Blues Showcase offers a walk through the roots and regions of traditional blues originating in the Southern USA. From the hallelujah of the gospel choir; to the intricate finger-style guitar of the Piedmont region; the fiery passion of the Delta blues; the foot stompin’ Mississippi Hill-Country blues; to Ragtime and its syncopated rhythms; Boogie-Woogie dance music; and the fast tempos of the Louisiana Creole’s Zydeco.

The blues celebrates the commonality of the human spirit.  Join us on our walk and discover the styles and flavors of our blues heritage.  You won’t be able to sit still in your seats.
