FREE OUTDOOR MOVIE!

Bogart and Bergman under the stars. Sounds like a perfect summer evening. One of the best loved American films, this captivating wartime adventure of romance and intrigue is the story of Rick Blaine (Bogart), a world-weary ex-freedom fighter who runs a nightclub in Casablanca during the early part of WWII. Despite pressure from the local authorities, notably the crafty Capt. Renault (Claude Raines), Rick’s Cafe has become a haven for refugees looking to purchase illicit letters of transit which allow them to escape to America. And then one night Ilsa (Bergman) walks into the Cafe. She was Rick’s true love when the Nazis invaded Paris.

(1942) Rated PG, 102 min.

Please join us at this beautiful, secluded field at the Fort for a night of Hollywood stars under the stars. Please park on the field below the JFK building. Part of our Sudden Cinema Series, congratulations to Tim Lambert and Cheryl Morgenstern for correctly guessing the location of the movie.

Presented by the Rose, the Port Townsend Film Festival, Centrum and Fort Worden PDA.

“Round up the usual suspects.”
