Basques Return For 2013 Festival of American Fiddle Tunes

Registration is now open for the 2013 Festival of American Fiddle Tunes!  Spend the week of June 30-July 7, 2013 living, learning, and jamming with masters of a wide variety of fiddling styles. The Festival provides an opportunity to be in community with the bearers of fiddle traditions.

Artistic Director Suzy Thompson has gathered an outstanding group of musicians for Fiddle Tunes in 2013, including Tapia, Leturia, and Arkaitz Miner from the Basque Region sometimes known as Northern Spain.

They’ll be joined by Chirps Smith and Dot Kent, Bobby Taylor and Kim Johnson, Don and Cindy Roy, Cookie Segelstein, Mark Rubin, Brian Marshall, Los Jilguerillos del Huerto, Blake Miller, Edward Poullard, and many more.

We’re still adding musicians, so be sure to visit our Festival of American Fiddle Tunes faculty page to see who you will be playing with in 2013.

You can register immediately online, or download and print your forms if that’s more your style.

We’re excited to share more with you, so stay tuned.
