Dr. Lucinda Carver, Centrum’s Artistic Director for Classical Music, has just received a Mentoring Award from USC’s Thornton School of Music where she is Vice Dean  of Classical Performance Studies. This award is especially meaningful because she was nominated by her students who “demonstrated that you have made a meaningful difference in their lives.”

This award exemplifies Lucinda’s commitment to education, which she has brought to Centrum with a passion. Audiences here enjoy her insights and humor from the stage, and her leadership has resulted in the establishment of a summer chamber music workshop of the highest quality.
