St Lucia is a 240 square mile island country in the Caribbean, closer to Venezuela than Puerto Rico. We don’t know much about their music and dance traditions, but we’re about to learn!

We are very fortunate to receive this trailer, part of an unfinished documentary film currently being produced there. In it, you will find footage of some of the traditional dances of St. Lucia – adaptations of European dances, partnered, ballroom-style – as well as the music of Manmay Lakay, a folk band coming to Fiddle Tunes.
