Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion is one of public radio’s most popular shows, and our very own Reeb Willms and Caleb Kaluder will be the featured musical guests (with their “Country Band”) on the June 13, 2015 broadcast. Willms and Klauder will be coming to Centrum shortly thereafter to serve as part of the Voice Works artist faculty.
A Prairie Home Companion started production in 1974. Live every Saturday night from 5—7 p.m. CT, A Prairie Home Companion features comedy sketches, music, and Garrison Keillor’s signature monologue, “The News from Lake Wobegon.”
Centrum audiences can catch Reeb and Caleb and the Country Band on Saturday, June 25, 2015 at the Voice Works Polka Dot Honky Tonk Dinner and Dance, starting at 5:30pm. They’ll be joined by special guest Casey MacGill, as well as Pharis Romero, Laurel Bliss, and Eli West. We’ll fire up a Mexican dance set with La Familia Govea, and a dinner-hour jazz set with Jennifer Scott and Pamela Bertoli.
The dance and dinner take place at the Fort Worden USO, featuring plenty of space for dancing; beer garden and fried chicken dinner available for purchase. Tickets are $10 at the door.
