Summer will be here before we know it and of course that includes the 2016 Jazz Port Townsend workshop July 24-31.
Remember the feeling of hearing world-class faculty from just a few feet away in your first Faculty Presents concert? The individualized attention you got in your combo or vocal class? The amazing mainstage and club performances, not to mention your own?
We want to let you know that space is still available this summer in most instruments and in voice, though we do have a waiting list for piano and drums. Artistic Director John Clayton has once again put together an outstanding faculty—these musicians are here to spend a week with YOU!
We even have some scholarship support still available including a special pool of funds for talented young musicians of color. Just apply during the registration process – it’s that simple!
If you’re not able to join us again this year please pass the word along to someone else who would benefit from being here. Later you can compare notes about your favorite moments. Hope we’ll see you or a friend here in July. Or both!
