Centrum October E-News

The Northern Lights beckon! Please join us on Saturday, October 17, for Centrum’s 2020 Gala and Auction. Listen to Centrum Alumna, Jazz Pianist, and singer Diana Krall in conversation with friend and mentor John Clayton, Centrum’s Artistic Director for Jazz. Bid in the live auction and raise your paddle to support Centrum’s Fund for the Future under the guidance of Auctioneer Gabriel Butu. You can register for free here to enjoy the online silent auction already in progress AND the livestreamed Gala and Auction on the 17th. Check back every few days for new auction offerings!

“On behalf of the Northern Lights Planning Group, I offer my most sincere thanks to the 10 Fundraisers and 41 generous donors (listed below) who contributed to the Northern Lights crowdfunding campaign. Your early donations—totaling $20,885—jump start our Gala’s Fund for the Future paddle-raise on October 17, and help ensure Centrum offers programs and scholarships for many more workshop participants in 2021. Ironically, funds such as these are the hardest to come by precisely when the world is making it clear how much they are really needed. The arts are worthwhile in themselves; however, it is the bond we build in sharing the arts with others that is so important. It is the bond that builds community.”
